TGI March Break

A few weeks ago my dad commented to me, "You can always tell what kind of shape Em and LK are in by how often they post on their blogs."  He smiled while he said it, but there was a shadow of concern on his face.  He had obviously noticed our rather limited posting of late.

Yesterday was the first day of March Break.  My parents had come down with a nasty stomach flu and Mom called in the morning to warn the kids to stay away while they were germy and contagious. I was a bit off on the phone and later in the day my dad called back, "How are you guys doing over there? "  with a note of concern in his voice.

Well, we are all right.  But we are stretched to our max and flat out exhausted.  We are deeply thankful to have made it to the March Break this year and are looking forward to a whole week of slower pace without dealines or expectations to meet.

So, without further ado, I have a sweetie to snuggle up with and a novel to read for the rest of the evening.
